I never feel happy, even in situations where I know I'm supposed to be. I feel tired all the time and never feel motivated to get out of bed. I've isolated myself, there's no one for me to talk to. I've cut and skipped meals for the past couple of years and have, more recently, began purging. I don't know whats wrong with me but I want it to end.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.

Hello dear,
What you have described above is highly suggestive of an ongoing negative emotional and mood state. The possibility of a depressive episode seems to be high. Howsoever please note that depression is a treatable medical condition and you can get out of the current condition by appropriate treatment. Hence my suggestion for you is that please seek a consultation with a psychiatrist near you for comprehensive assessment and treatment. You can and will get better if you seek help...
Do not hesitate or delay in seeking help as delay can make further treatment difficult..
