Although a detailed workup and evaluation of the problem is required to make a diagnosis. It is important for you to understand that it is completely curable. You must act and seek a treatment as if it is not treated, it may worsen and complicate. Depression is like any other medical problem. I understand your situation. How long have you been feeling so? How is your sleep, hunger and energy levels? And concentration at whatever you do? Are your thyroid levels normal? More clarity is needed regarding all these as well. Sometimes depression might even appear to reduce on its own in course of time, however further severe episodes might start occuring more frequently. Hence mandates earlier treatment, and it is easily manageable. I would be more than happy to help you with that. Some structured therapy sessions and if needed medical help might be useful for you. You can directly consult with me through Practo. Discussions will be held confidential. Online chat consultation is available.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.
