Depression
I am unable to study for the past 2-3 weeks. I watch movies or read a book to keep my mind off. Because it's either that or crying uncontrollably as if some one else is controlling me. I am really worried. I don't want this to happen. I have just 2 months for Boards now. I wanna concentrate on studies rather than cry. Can you help me?

I am so glad to see that you are managing yourself and your problem so well. I know it hurts. I can understand how impossible it seem to forget your past and move forward, but thats what makes you stronger. Its tough i can understand but you have to do it. Boards bad result haunts you all your life. So its only you who can overcome that. Talk to your mom if possible. Steam out. Try to confess if u haven't. It will give you a relief. Secondly try not to sit alone. Try studying with your friends or group study. Will help you avoid your mind getting diverted. Take help. Try to forget and forgive.

I understand your current situation. You seem to be suffering from exam anxiety which many people go through. Information regarding your sleep, hunger and energy levels would be more helpful to decide the severity of your condition. However it is easily manageable with appropriate treatment. Some counselling sessions and if needed medical help might be useful for you. I would also be more than happy to help you with that if you are looking for online assistance. You can directly consult with me through Practo as needed. Online chat consultation is available.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.
