Depression is mainly a feeling of sad mood, loss of interest in daily activities, poor eating n sleeping habits, poor concentration, fatigue etc..
If u really having these symptoms for more than 2 weeks now n it's causing impairment in your daily life, u must visit a Psychiatrist so that u get some medicine because one cannot just get over or get rid of depression. U also might have tried to get rid of it but sometimes it's not possible.. so my advise is to see a psychiatrist as early as u can n get medicine and psychotherapy
You need to ask yourselves many questions as to why you are sitting at home idle and if u are not able to find suitable answers, you should immediately seek help from your nearest clinical psychologist
