Depression and generalized Anxiety disor
I was taking 50mg sertaline from last 40 days now i have less depression symptoms but anxiety and sometime low mood is still there. What should i do ? My doctor told to take 100mg now. And how long i have to be on medication. I have almost 85% recovered i can say it but still I'm afraid what will happen if i stop medication. Please answer briefly.

The anxiety related to stopping the Medications is very common. The medicines should be slowly decreased and then stopped. Your doctor has been seeing you for long and would have taken this decision after seeing you. Kindly try taking therapy along with medication

I am glad to know that you have recovered 85% , it's a good progress but for your anxiety and depression symptoms i would suggest you to take Psychotherapy where you will learn to manage your symptoms in a better way without getting afraid.
