Dengue fever
My wife having dengue since 21th of this month.Her fever still it's coming now.After Paracetamol is taken, it's goes away and again comes.Her patelet count was 55000 when first day the test was done then 2nd day was 114000 and 4th day was 820000 and then yesterday was 142000.Why her fever is not going away as 7days are over?She is feeling weak and does not feel to eat properly but she does not have vomiting,stomach or bleeding.Kindly advice me what steps need to be taken further?

You should get her admitted to a hospital where she can be monitored on a day to day basis. Then they will decide if she needs Platelet infusion or not. The way you are describing her fever and other symptoms she may develop some complications. So regular monitoring is a must.

Hi dear It's been a week so if it was just dengue without any complications she should have become normal by now if the fever is still coming that means we might be missing something . Please connect online so we can discuss in detail everything and I will be able to guide u further. The weakness is because of fever . Keep her well hydrated and give healthy food which she is able to tolerate. Take care
