Dengue Fever
My Dengue NS1 Antigen is positive and Platelets are 210000. Since last 2 days I m having fever and Dengue symptoms. For Fever I am having Enzoflam but my temperature got normal till medicine's effect after that my temperature start getting high. So can u pls suggest any better medicine for fever

Hi dear For fever u do not need to take enzoflam Tak dolo 650 thrice a day Fever will settle in sometime Take plenty of liquids and repeat cbc after 2 days to see the trend of platelets Take care

Dengue fever lasts for upto 7-8 days,You can use paracetamol every 6-8 hours. Don't use enzoflam.
Next Steps
use plenty of water do check your blood pressure,get blood test including CBC platelets  urine analysis every 3 days if fever gets high,or severe abdominal pain and vomiting ,or if you notice any bleeding in gums ,nose, multiple rashes over the body,you need to get hospital care

Repeat platelets on every 3rd day if its falling  visit near by hospital For fever take dolo 650 if temperature is more then 100 do cold sponging Drink plenty of water Look for warning signs ( rash , gum bleeding etc

For fever U can Take T crocin 500 thrice daily Avoid Enzoflam And consult me after 2 days on Practo

Stop enzoflam immediately. No pain killer /NSAID in Dengue. Now platelet count is normal. Check platelet, PCV every day. Chance of sudden fall in platelet is there No need to treat fever aggressively. It will subside in 4-5 days. Paracetamol is the only  medicine for fever and nothing else. Take plenty of fluids (most important).
