Daughter -11 years old
Hi, My daughter is 11 years old and got her first periods. She is 146cms and I am worried about her growth. Will she grow more after her first periods? My husband is 179cms and I am 160, we don't see much growth in the first daughter after menarche.

Hello. In girls after onset of puberty, the growth plates begin to close up. As a result of this after menarche their vertical growth slows done significantly. She might increase by a few centimetres but not much significant difference.
