My brother has a fever and his blood test done yesterday.his platelet is 140 and crp c reactive protein is 7.8 mg/dl..is it normal?

Your brothers crp is bit high  and as he has fever it means his body is fighting  an infection  (likely) or inflammation.  But it should  come down to normal level in few days. Nothing to worry.
