Covid19 patient
Hello my mom is hospitalised as she's covid positive,her SPO2 level was between 80-87 when she got admitted... it's been 8days now and today she'll take last dose of Remdesivir..her corads report and doctor's observation is attached... they told that patient is doing fine and we can take her home if we have oxygen arrangements but we denied and told them to wait till Sunday... Today her SPO2 level again went down to 89... kindly guide me so that we can take necessary steps...

Fluctuation of Spo2 may occur a few times. Although the patient's reports are not suggestive of severe infection, plus a complete dose of Remdesevir along with Steroids, would have reduced the inflammation. I would suggest you wait for 1-2 days more and observe before getting discharged. Also monitor her Spo2 levels. For more information, please connect via Voice/Video call.
