Covid phobia
Hello, some of our family members want to visit our Home. I have a 2 year old baby, and I am really concerned about him for covid reason. We are taking all the precautions for covid. But don't know about the guests coming home. The luggage they'll carry and their covid status. I don't know what to do. What should I do. I can't take any risk for my baby. Since April 2020, noone was allowed to visit our Home. And this is the first time during covid.

If you are worried this much, why allow guests visit home ? Let them stay at a nearby hotel. When they come home, ask them to come without any luggage or extra items. The moment they come, ask them to spray themselves with skin friendly disinfectant spray. That should be enough

Hi... So far 2 year old kids are not found to be at risk of getting fatally infected by Covid-19. But still as a precaution you can keep him/her and yourself in a separate room and interact with relatives minimally, keeping Covid-19 protocols (mask, sanitisation, social distance). Covid-19 is found to be infecting more through human transmission compared to other mediums like luggage, things, etc. So do keep human proximity low. We can't completely isolate ourselves for 2-3 years but we can reduce our human face to face interaction to bare minimum. If these relatives are from your husband's side, do keep in mind that you also have a social role to play but you can do that while keeping all the precautions.
Next Steps
Follow Covid appropriate behaviours.
