I am having cough and throat infection from 2 days. Please suggest a medicine for the same. I am not taking any medicine currently.

Having cough is a different thing and infected throat is different....in either condition elaborate all the details you have regarding your cough- expectorant or not,dry or mucoid,colour. Throat condition- pain while swallowing;condition of tonsils- inflamed or not,is any pus formation over it present or not; smell of your breath; is their any breathing difficulty are you experience any bubbling sound in your chest.
