Fever is not getting down.. it is near by 100.. it day two taking medicine prescribed by docotor... they wont ask for any test..

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside. So,unless accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness,just give paracetamol every4 hours if required. If not improving in 3-4 days or appearance of additional symptoms,consult your paediatrician.
