Constant hiccups are going on...

Asked for Male, 62 Years

My father suffered from viral fever on wednesday night... he was also getting hiccups and vomiting,,, after cosulting a local doctor,,, he gave some medicine after that although almost every problem is cured but the hicups are still going on,,,, please tell me what should i do and which doctor i may refer to for these problem
