Recently suffered from viral fever
Myself, Shakuntala Singh, had a spell of viral fever attack. After 4th day the temperature had receded but feeling overly weak.Today, did a blood test, blood sugar, and platelet count, blood sugar is 155 and platelet 65000. What complication will take place if platelet count is so low? I am a 66-year-old lady. Please comment. Thanks

Hi,
Don't worry.
It's very typical of dengue fever to have fall in platelet count after the fever subsides. Usually from day 3 to day 6 of fever we expect fall in platelet count. Spontaneously rising trend is seen after Day 6.
You need to be careful of warning signs.
