I am a young ovarian cancer survivor and because of surgical menopause and estrogen blocking treatment, I have developed early osteoporosis/severe osteopenia. I wanted to check which collagen is the best for improving my bone health? type 1,2,3,4 or 5?

I would like to point out that you should make sure your vitamin d levels are more than 70 and b12 more than 400.
If it's low, it won't matter what collagen or calcium u take.
Get injectable supplement for vitamins if low.
Next Steps
all the best.

Hi, with regards to your specific question, what you should understand is that the different types of collagen are essentially the same protein, just folded and packed differently in the bosy to provide different functions. So for as long as the body is betting the right ingredients for building the collagen it will do so as and where whatever type is required. Usually the various preparations available in the market have a combination of different types of collagen all in one. So don't worry too much about it.
