Clonazepam withdrawal
Hi.. I was taking Lonazep 0.25 twice a day as per doctor's prescription for one month for my anxiety and panic attacks. When my symptoms improved, doctor reduced to Lonazep 0.25 once a day for one month. Now doctor has advised me take 0.125 once a day for one month and stop it. Im worried about its withdrawal symptoms. Doctor said we have reduced slowly, so I wont face much withdrawal symptoms and not to worry. I want a second opinion about these withdrawal symptoms, I have read on internet, some dangerous symptoms like seizures, delirium, etc. Can anybody guide me please?

Hi Welcome to practo. As your doctor rightly said that he is tapering the doses very slowly so there won't be much problem. The serious withdrawals will not be there at this dose. Probably , At this rate of tapering,  there will be no much withdrawals at all. So just relax. Thanks and regards

Hows your anxiety at the current dosage? Not everything mentioned on internet is correct. You’re already taking a low dosage and it’s being tapered slowly. Withdrawal symptoms are less likely on this dosage.
