Namaste Doctor...
My mother, 70yo has long suffered from chronic intermittent throat drying and throat irritation. She chokes and starts coughing violently almost whenever she takes her first bite of any food. She may choke suddenly while talking, Even she chokes sometimes out of nothing, may be while simply watching a TV. There is no throat infection. In general, she doesn't cough or choke during her sleeps.
This issue remained there for years. But now I want to treat it seriously. Kindly help.
