Hello ,
Please don't read internet for any of the medical problem..it's always exaggerated.
As suggested by your doctor there is nothing to worry as you are asymptomatic and please continue the conservative treatment such as sitz bath , high fibre diet and plenty of fluids to keep your stools soft .
if you are really worried about complication , you can always visit the surgeon and get it checked out - Be aware of symptoms such as pus discharge, soiling of clothes , excess bleeding or any growth in the anal region .
