Sir if ur baby having cold cough &loose stools all at a time more in favour of viral infection.but still if ur child is not taking feeds ,dull, not passing urine properly ,fast breathing take immideatly to pediatrician. If no such symptoms try to avoid formula feeds if cant change the bottles ensure adequate boiling of bottles for atleast 10min.give steam inhalation and nasal saline drops to relieve congestion. Give feeds frequently. Give zn 20 drops 0.5ml once a day for 14days.give pcm if having fever.give syp cefixime 50 2.5ml twice a day if little sick.
Next Steps
i would suggest u to consult pediatrician tomorrow even if every thing is normal.bcz ur child is only 5months.
Health Tips
clear nose with nasal drops then after 5min try to give feeds.bcz if nose is blocked they take breathing through mouth so if u try to feed they dont accept.thank u.
