At 13 weeks, a cervical length of 2.8 cm is on the lower side of normal. Generally, more than 2.5 cm is considered acceptable, but we usually prefer to see above 3.0 cm for reassurance in early pregnancy. Since you are already on progesterone support (Susten SR 400), that is appropriate and helps in protecting the pregnancy. connect for further doubts
Next Steps
• Continue your progesterone as advised. • Regular follow-up scans (especially a cervical length scan around 16–24 weeks) are important to monitor any further shortening. • Inform your doctor immediately if you develop pain, bleeding, or increased discharge.
Health Tips
• Avoid heavy lifting, prolonged standing, or strenuous activity. • Do not worry excessively, but stay vigilant with follow-up. • Keep in close contact with your obstetrician for timely intervention if required.
