Good evening. Ceramic crowns cannot cause dryness in any way. Dry mouth can be caused due to decreased salivary secretions. To begin with kindly use Saleva mouthwash, a product from DentAids. Gargle 15ml twice a day for a min for 2 weeks and see if there's any difference.
Next Steps
In case there is little or no difference after a considerable time period, kindly contact a dentist post lockdown. Further investigation maybe needed.
Hello...have the ceramic crowns placed recently...usually it could be as simple as insufficient water intake..you could simultaneously gargle with mouthwash ...
No ceramic teeth or any prosthesis do not causes any dryness there might be some other underlying reason behind it. Sometimes, a dry mouth is simply the result of not drinking enough water during the day or re-hydrating after strenuous exercise. Temporary dry mouth can also come from stress. More often, however, dry mouth is a side-effect of some medication.
Hello Ma’am,
Dryness is not usually caused because of ceramic crowns.
You need to visit the dentist for the same.
After clinical examination, medication would be prescribed if required.
If the problem still persists visit an ENT.
Next Steps
Visit the dentist after lockdown.
