Carvedilol 3.125 mg three times a day
Cardiologist prescribed carvedilol 3.125 mg three times a day with 8 hours gap in view of high bp. 71 years early compensated cirrhosis. Asymptomatic. Mild pedal edema occassional.  BP fluctuates mostly in 144-150/80-90 , 160/90 up. At times 130/70 & up. Normal heart rate 70-80.    Currently on carvedilol 3.125 mg two times a day. Taking thyronorm for subclinical hypothyroidism, istamet for prediabetes, n multivitamins. From hepatologist point of view, is it ok to initiate the dose three times a day??
