Cardiophobia
Dear Doctor, I am having constant upper back pain chest tightness and pain in chest for last 8 months. Visited different doctors like ortho and cardio. Ortho said pain is because of muscle tension and spasm and poor posture. Cardio doctor done with test like ecg, echo, tmt, chest x ray and lipid profile, except BP and borderline cholestrol everything is fine and normal. But I am having constant chest tightness, upper body muscle twitching and some time pain in chest. Because of which I am getting stressed and anxious. 3 days back also visited my cardio doctor for reassurance he is saying like no issues in heart structurally, but still I am worrying and thinking of heart attack and negative thoughts. Till date visited 4 cardio doctors all r saying no issues. Kindly support me to come out from this mind set. Last cardio doctor asking me to do psychological Counselling sessiona.

Hi. I am sorry you are feeling this way. I am sure it is tough for you. I understand that there is confusion around what’s causing you these physical symptoms as the tests don’t reveal any ailment as such in your heart. I feel that there is some subconscious old emotional may be childhood trigger that seems to be activated on its own due to which you are feeling g this way. Because of the emotional trigger the body seems to be feeling tensed in certain places. We can work on this in a safe space by opening up your subconscious past stories and heal the emotional trauma that is higher or unprocessed. Once that is released your body will feel much more relaxed in your heart and you will not feel the pains and the spasms you are feeling right now. You’re fine the way you are. Stay ⚽️
Next Steps
I can help you release the tension in your muscles to move you into a space of wellness conscious. Love and healing ❤️‍

Hello As you have reported that all the tests have come out normal, the problem sounds more on lines of a psychosomatic Illness. Seeking reassurance might relieve the anxiety for a while but the anxiety returns and i am sure you would be aware of this that after one reassurance, the need to check again arises soon. However this reassurance seeking behaviour is maintaining your illness. Kindly consult a psychiatrist and a clinical psychologist for treatment

Hi... It's a clear case of severe health anxiety. This chest tightness, muscle twitching, pain, etc. may be a combination of poor physical routine and severe health anxiety. You need to work upon both. A healthy body is a necessary prerequisite for a healthy mind. These two are not separate but parts of the same whole. There might be some fears (real or imaginary) in your subconscious/unconscious mind which may be causing these physical symptoms.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Lifestyle Changes and Interpersonal Guidance & Counselling is required.
