Calcium 500mg & Calcitriol 0.25mcg Dose
I have severe Vitamin D deficiency. My vitamin D value is 7.7nmg. The pharmacist recommended ' Calcium 500mg and Calcitriol 0.25mcg' as a vitamin D supplement. He advised me to take 1 tablet a day. But I didn't tell him my Vitamin D test value. So I am confused about the correct dose of this tablet as I have severe vitamin D deficiency. What will the correct number of tablets be taken in a day. And for how long (months) should I continue this ?

Looking at your age it's too low. Medication should always be prescribed by qualified physicians .You can continue with d3 supplement but it's wiser and helpful for future to find out how one can raise and maintain d3 normal levels normally by modifying life style& diet.
