C reactive protein high

My friend is having some dizziness feeling from the last 2 days, sometime cough with phlegum in throat. Today he visited doctor and he has been prescribed for Vit-B12, C reative Protien, where his result of B-12 shows low, and C reactive protein range is 12. The doctor prescribed some medicines and injections, But he also prescribed for covid rapid test. Does this all means Covid or any other problem in body Please guide me in this regard as i am very tensed about it.
