You are likely experiencing irritant contact dermatitis due to accidental spread of benzoyl peroxide (Persol) or clindamycin-adapalene (Faceclin) near the sensitive eyelid skin.
Next Steps
Discontinue applying Persol and Faceclin near the eye area immediately. Apply a gentle moisturizer (like Cetaphil or Physiogel) to soothe the skin. If burning persists, a mild topical steroid (like hydrocortisone 1%) for 3–5 days can help (under supervision).
Health Tips
Be cautious while applying acne medications; eyelid skin is very delicate. If redness and discomfort worsen, consult a dermatologist promptly.
