My baby is a month old. How much milk do breastfeed babies need per feeding? Is it ok to supplement with formula if mother's milk isn't enough

Let the babies decide the amount .as long as the baby is passing urine more than 6 times a day sleeping adequately and gaining weight ...don't need to supplement .
