Braces wisdom teeth
I recently got my braces on upper jaw. I have two wisdom teeth in lower jaw which are not yet erupted but opg xray shows that they are in weird position. Should i get them removed before getting the braces? or there is no need for removal at all?  Also do I have any milk tooth that needs to be extracted? i have attached my opg xray results. kindly let me know asap.

Since you’ve already started with upper braces, and plan for lower braces too, the lower wisdom teeth might interfere with the movement of adjacent teeth. Orthodontists often recommend removing such impacted third molars before or during treatment to prevent complications later. Also in opg it appears that all the tooth are permanent.
Next Steps
Consult your orthodontist and oral surgeon together to coordinate the timing of lower third molar removal. ✅ Extraction of both the lower wisdom tooth is advisable before progressing with lower jaw braces, to avoid: Orthodontic relapse, Pressure-related resorption on 2nd molars

Hi! Looking at the OPG, your lower third molars (wisdom teeth) appear to be impacted and mesioangularly positioned, which could interfere with your orthodontic treatment later. It’s advisable to extract them before starting lower arch braces to avoid complications like crowding or altered tooth movement. Also, there’s a retained deciduous (milk) tooth visible in the upper arch, likely upper right without a permanent successor. It should be clinically evaluated to decide whether to retain or extract it based on mobility and space requirements.
Next Steps
Kindly consult your orthodontist and an oral surgeon for a detailed plan.

These lower wisdom teeth will harm your healthy second molars in future and may cause problems in ortho treatment, i think you have one retained deciduous tooth in upper arch.

Hi, Your lower wisdom teeth are impacted and positioned abnormally, which can damage the second molars, cause crowding, and interfere with orthodontic alignment. It's best to get them removed before or during braces to avoid complications and ensure better treatment results. Also, there appears to be a retained milk tooth on the upper right side (probably in the 55 region), which should be evaluated by your orthodontist for possible extraction.
