Bp concern for pregnancy
Dear sir/ madam, My wife just completed 7 month pregnancy. Fetus weight is 1125 during scan made on 3 days before. Is it ok? Whn does fetus start gaining weight? Food you suggest Secondly her bp is 160/110. Doc had prescribed labetol 1-0-1. Is having tht bp a concern.

The weight of the baby is fine.it mainly increases after 8 months. But the raised bp is my concern, we generally hospitalise patient in such a high bp reading. Keep a record of bp charting, if it's getting controlled with labetalol or not

Since you have started Labetalol plz do monitoring of bp twice daily and maintain chart.. If still u get bp > 140/90 do consult for further evaluation and dose adjustment..she may require admission for a day or two if uncontrolled
