Bone spurs at back of ankle
Bone spurs at the back of ankle. Was identified post x ray suggested by earlier doc. I was advised rest. However it's not getting better. Pain increases if I walk for some time.

Its called calcaneal spur. Ideally treated with conservative treatment like anti inflammatory drug. You have to make it weight off by silicon insole, insert it in your shoe, avoid normal footwear ot high heel foot wear, use shoe. Ask any occupational therapist or podiatrist to help u.

Its also treated with steroid injection when conservative fail but its not life long answer so better change your regular lifestyle and consult physiotherapist as soon as possible.

Use hot & cold water therapy. Sometimes there is nerve impingement also so you can add pregabaline 75 mg alond with anti inflammatory drug.
