Blood Report - HbA1c & Iron serum
Hi My wife has yesterday done blood report 2 months after delivery. Her HbA1c is showing 6.2 and iron serum is 49.7 ug/dl. Can you advise whether I need to start any medicine for her ?

she is at a pre diabetic stage and if careful lifestlye changes are not done she might become diabetic in future. consult for all the precationary measures one can take to prevent hba1c from increasing any further

Hb1AC upto 6.4 is normal avoid high carbohydrate diet n sugars and for iron deficiency start iron n folic acid for next 6 months

She's pre diabetic. No need of any medications, just life style modification is enough. Her iron stores are less she would need iron supplements.

After the delivery till 6 months , iron folic acid along with calcium tablets must be taken. As per the report iron serum is mildly low
