Blood in caugh
I have runny nose and cold and sore throat for 4 5 days.terrible sore throat at morning.but today when i clear my throat i found some bloody mucus a littille blood in it.i have no cough.and i never smoked a cigarate. I feel littile uncomfortable in my throat.what to do next.i am terrified

pharyngitis, tonsillitis , causing sore throat. Soreness causes the lining of the throat to become swollen and edematous with blood. When there is pressure like trying to clear your throat,the blood vessels of the throat mucosa burst and stick to the sputum. streaks of blood mixed sputum should not be a concern.do warm water with salt gargling 3times daily, use antihistamine tablet like cetrizin 10 mg and paracetamol as required .
