Bleeding from throat

Asked for Male, 32 Years

Hi, my friend is suffering for throat pain, and bleeding from the epiglottis. We have seen a doctor and he prescribed medication for 2days. But the reason he gave was because of extensive brushing which we don't think may be the proper cause. But still my friend is recovering. He want to carry on the prescribed medications for 2more days. Is it okay or can anyone help us. I'm attaching the prescription.

Your friend may have had acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. Sometimes forceful throat clearing itself can cause bleeding. He has been treated adaquately. Let him continue the same
