Cleaning (scaling and polishing) is normally adviced every 6 months. The main reason probably is improper brushing in the inner surfaces of teeth.ask you doctor to demonstrate proper technique of brushing and flossing . And irrespective of deposits and stains, get cleaning done twice in a year.
Next Steps
Visit dentist for scaling & polishing.
