Black spots in my mouth cheek

I have a black spots in my mouth cheek, I don't know how long its been there because I just notice it this day 11/9/17. I'm worried that it may a sign that I have a cancer? I searched online and they said that black spots is a sign of skin cancer. Please do help me. Thank you
