Hello Doctor,
I recently checked my Vitamin B12 level and it is 147. I am feeling weakness and my voice has become weak.
Could you please tell me which Vitamin B12 injection is usually given for this?
Thank you.

Please consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination. You may not need Vit B12 injections for B12 deficiency. Oral treatment is equally effective.
Please have a check on your diet once because vitamin B12 deficiency is very common in people who neglect non-vegetarian diet and if you are a vegetarian, it is important to take supplements or injections among the oral supplements renerve plus something which is commonly used. Vitamin B12 is low (147) → deficiency.
Injection usually given: methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin.
Common schedule: injections for few days/weeks, then tablets.
Consult doctor for proper dose and plan.
Hydorxycobalamin injection 1mg (IM) to take 3 times a week for 2 weeks and once every 3 months for life.
Consider having blood tests: Intrinsic factor antibody; Coeliac antibody; TSH and CBP
All the best.
