My wife is hapatitas c patient in 2016.Now she is good .I requlerly checkup in Aims Delhi.report are normal last six months.but few days she comes fever .due to lock down we give medicine from village.now fever not.but she is feeling weekness ,no hunger,and vomiting ,I see the aims paper and give him normoxin rt tab .so please advise.

HCV can cause chronic liver disease in 70 % of the infected persons. It can lead to Cirrhosis of Liver if the infection lasts for > 10 years in 5% of the infected persons.
It also depends on other factors like chronic alcohol consumption, presence or absence of Diabetes and Obesity
you said she is following at AIIMS, New Delhi for Liver disease. From year 2018 onwards we have New drugs (DAA) for HCV treatment, which are much more potent and with least side effects.
Hope your wife have received the same new Drugs for your wife which will almost eradicate the virus.
But it also depends on how much liver damage has been done before the start of treatment. If the patient has progressed to Liver Cirrhosis, which is incurable even after the viral eradication.
And also risk of Liver cancer (HCC) is there in the cirrhotic Liver.
Next Steps
1)Get the LFT , AFP and ultrasound imaging of Liver to rule out any HCC.
