I am 38 years old suffering from hypothyroid for the past 7 years. Can I take few grams of protein powder if can which to be take

Why do you have the need to eat protein powder? Rather eat iodine, selenium, zinc rich foods. Keep your iron, vit. C levels right . Avoid goitrogens. Certain nuts have to be avoided as well. Actually, due to recent  happenings the usage of protein powders should be banned . In Australia, many patients who have consumed whey protein powder and other protein powders are hospitalized and got scars in the liver. It is very big load on our internal organ liver.

Hello! Kindly avoid animal based protein powder. You can have protein powder of pea ,etc. Avoid,soya ,and milk protein powder. Stay blessed. Thankyou!

Hi sir, thanks for your question. In general as per ICMR guidelines aroud .8 grams of protein per kg body weight per day is recommended for the healthy individuals. With knowing your lifestyle, Medical history  and eating habbit I can't recommend any protein supplement source . In general you include milk and products,sprouted moong ,sprouted millet,egg, fish,  lean chicken as a source of protein in diet..

Hi, You may go for the Protein supplement if the protein from the Diet is not sufficient. More or less all brands are at par. You may for any good one.

U can take Millet malt from Naksha co.malleshplya Bengaluru. 20 gm in 200 ml water cooked for 10 min and drink with a teaspoon ghee and  jaggery.drink once / twice a day.It is a food supplement.
