Bald patch came on middle of head
Hi sir/madam,
My doctor suggested to use 5% minoxidil lotion(chymotra) and serum gel (contains saw palmetto and biotion) .
I have been using them from last 23 days. Hair fall is continuing still and now surprinsingly, i got new bald patch on the middle of the head. Feeling sooo depressed , and feeling like why did I go to treatment for hair fall.
Please help me with your valuable suggestions.

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
