Hello doctor,
I have short hair. Recently, I have got bald patches at 2 spots on my head (at the upper area of my head). I guess it is because I have started wearing helmet from the last 4-5 months. These bald patches are now clearly visible even after I comb my hair.
Kindly suggest what best can be done as this patch area is increasing.

You are having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp.
