Baby hearing issues
My baby is 6 weeks old, her first hearing test after birth , she failed, but she was responsive to sounds, but lately she became little less responsive, we took to paediatrician for test, doctor mentioned there is lot of dirt in baby's ear and it needs to be cleaned before testing again, i am worried

First put waxsol ear drop 3 times a day for atleast a week Than get the ear cleaned and after that the hearing assessment can be done

It is unlikely there will be signifant dirt/wax in such a young child's ear, unless someone puts in something.
Next Steps
Visit an ENT surgeon and get the child examined. The Consultant may then advise a BERA test. Further treatment will be advised by the ENT consultant.
