Baby head injury
Dear sir) madam My two years baby fell down and hits her head to tiles edge. Suddenly she was having seizures and unconscious . after 10mins she was doing vomiting frequently when we were in pedtrition clinic. CT scan done immediately and report was normal.  And doctor prescribed vomiting veto and pain syrup and they have given sleepy syrup at the time of CT scan Please  suggest is there any further investigation is required? Now baby has normal but very tired due to no food more than 4hours due to vomiting. She walks some time crying and tired

It is most likely post traumatic seizures. More common in children. You can get admitted for observation. If the child gets another episode then seizure medication has to be definitely started. It will be for a short course and then stopped.

If there is history of post traumatic seizures will need to be started on antiepileptics medication. Also may need an mri brain for further evaluation
