Superficial Parotidectomy is a major surgical procedure and very rarely performed in local anesthesia. Though experienced surgeon can perform it with regional block anesthesia. Patients cooperation is also important for any surgery under local anesthesia. You need to find a surgeon who has experience of performing this surgical procedure under local anesthesia
