Ashwagandha and pseudoscience
Why is it ashwagandha is marketed as a supplement rather than a medicine ,and is sold for the sake of looting and creating health issues while saying no side effects because it's a herb why is it marketed that away i consumed it as a supplement for sleep and stress and now my tsh is always bw 5-7 how long will it take for my tsh to return to baseline? I've no history of any ailments. all started after consuming this bullshit which is marketed in a very off way and is sold without prescription.

Great to note ur pain n concern tha ks for noticing it. Even Ayurveda shares water also has adverse effects on body n metabolism so don't drag Ayurveda in to the matter... Any way who advised you dose n duration or self medication who's certified it's purity who's responsible for it's adulteration... What was intention to achieve n was you tested prior for the same?
Next Steps
We being Indian and understand the authority by Apta praman i.e. by traditional Guru or ur keens adv. if u overtook the decision then you are the sole responsible for the same what you got it. another why it's been sold n who approved it's nutritional-pharmacutical value you can sue respective department and seek compensation as well

Please don't say like this... If anybody takes any herbs on his own without doctor advice,  then its his or her fault... No one else... Everybody must consult a doctor before taking any herb medication...
