Increased appetite can happen due to late sleeping, irregular meals, stress, or hormonal changes. Try regular meal timings, good sleep, and reduce late-night eating. If hunger remains excessive or weight changes, get checked. Please consult me for proper evaluation and guidance.

What you’re describing is quite common at your age. During the late teenage years, the body is still growing and hormonal changes can naturally increase appetite. In your case, the "very late sleep schedule (3–4 AM), long screen time, and late-night studying" may also be disturbing your body’s internal clock. When sleep timing shifts like this, the brain often triggers "late-night hunger and cravings", which is why you may feel hungry again soon after dinner. Also, foods like "bread, maggie, paratha, and snacks" give quick energy but don’t keep you full for long, so hunger can return within a short time. Your "current weight (46 kg at 5'2") is actually on the lower side", so eating a little more is not necessarily unhealthy.
Next Steps
However, since you mentioned feeling "very sensitive about this change", sometimes appetite changes can also be linked with "stress, mood changes, or sleep disturbance". If that is happening, it would be helpful to talk about it in detail.
Health Tips
Try to "improve your sleep routine, reduce late-night screen use, include more protein in meals (eggs, dal, paneer, nuts), and add some daily physical activity". If the hunger still feels "sudden or difficult to control", or if you notice "mood changes or stress related to eating", it would be a good idea to discuss it properly with a specialist. You may "consult me online for a detailed assessment and personalised guidance." 😊

Hello. Based on what you described, increased hunger and late-night cravings can occur due to irregular sleep schedule, studying late at night, high screen time, or long gaps between meals. When sleep and meal timing change, the body’s hunger signals may increase. You may consider: • Maintaining a regular sleep schedule • Eating balanced meals with protein and fiber • Reducing late-night snacking and screen time • Light daily physical activity Since appetite changes depend on lifestyle and health factors, a detailed review would be helpful. You may book an online consultation for proper evaluation and personalized treatment guidance.
