One of my Friends is feeling anxious most of time and from her childhood she is afraid of crackers and thunder. She used to take long breath often.It starts aggrevated these days.Recent death in her family leads making these symptoms even worse.What should be done to get back her life to normal ?

Thanks for reaching out even tho it’s for ur close friend. I can understand ur concerned for her well-being. Anxiety can be understood better when we recognise it’s triggers. Like u mentioned thunders n crackers n then death of a loved one. It would help if she could address these in therapy and help explore her underlying fears in a safe n private space.
