Let him not rely on medication alone. It’s necessary to remove the root cause of the problem. I am an online counselor based in Pune and can definitely help him through counseling alone . Do get in touch with me if required. Visit my Facebook page and my website mentioned on it to know my work. Happy to help !

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Anxiety treatment needs both medications and psychotherapy. Just dropping medication can cause withdrawal symptoms and that's what he is experiencing now. It's important to first find the root cause behind his anxiety and then follow certain non medicine treatment plan like psychotherapies, few lifestyle changes, daily routines, excersise etc to overcome. Be positive. You will be alright soon. Feel free reach me online for further evaluation and recommendation of suitable solution.

Hello practo user I can understand the concerns you have regarding your fiancée overall well being . It is important to understand that there might be an underlying stress which is causing these distressing symptoms. You can suggest him to try and practice deep breathing and meditation as it helps with the negative thoughts and relaxes the mind as well . He can maintain a healthy lifestyle which includes a nutrition filled diet and regular exercise . For better sleep he can follow these steps -- avoid using phone or TV before going to sleep , take a warm shower , avoid heavy meals , do some light reading , having a soothing tea or warm milk , temperature should be perfect and try and talk to close family members and friends about general things . It is advisable that he seeks help from a clinical psychologist who can understand and take a proper case history and provide a personalized treatment plan through regular psychotherapy sessions. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.
