Anxiety and depression.
I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression at 16. I took medicines for a year but abruptly stopped one day. Haven't been to a doctor since, nor have I been taking any meds. Anxiety is worse than ever. I'm almost 19 now. My question is, could I see a psychiatrist or a psychologist without my parents knowing it? I can't ask them to take me to a doctor again, it'd be too much for them. They don't believe in mental illnesses anyway. And life's getting too hard, I really think I need help. I'm afraid I'd do something bad to myself. I'm 19 so it should work, right?
