Hello, I understand your concern. You have been on treatment for anxiety and depression for a long duration, and it seems your symptoms fluctuate at times, which can happen in chronic anxiety–depression conditions. The medicines you are taking (Panazep, Mirtazapine, and Flupentixol combination) are commonly used, but persistent symptoms like overthinking, anxiety spikes, and poor concentration suggest that your treatment may need reassessment or dose optimization. Also, long-term benzodiazepine use (like Panazep/clonazepam) should be reviewed carefully to avoid dependence and cognitive dulling. Regarding your diabetes, the combination you are taking is appropriate for Type 2 diabetes, but stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbance can significantly affect blood sugar control, creating a cycle where both conditions worsen each other. I would strongly advise a follow-up with your psychiatrist for possible modification of medication. Regular sleep hygiene, structured routine, and stress management techniques will also help improve both mental health and glycemic control. If symptoms are persisting despite treatment for 2 years, a detailed review is definitely needed rather than continuing the same regimen. You can consult me for a detailed evaluation and medication adjustment plan. You can reach me at nine nine three one zero four five zero zero eight.
